Okay, so what am I supposed to do when people take my pictures? I keep finding things from my vampire-zombie account everywhere, in blogs and on stupid photobucket, and even stuff from this account, and im not even popular. There's about 6 images (1 from this account, the rest from my other account) on photobucket, and so much more in peoples blogs that I haven't even counted and no one has asked me for permission. I'm not a mean person, and I most likely would have let them use it as long as they put my name next to the image for credit and not pass it off as their own. Its not that hard to do. I guess I could send an email to photobucket, but I dont know what to do about the blog pictures. Can anyone help me please?

_{Well- I have a suggestion,,
it's going to be pretty tough tracking down everyone who stole your images, so what you should do is trying to prevent any more theft by watermarking ALL of your works= Your first and last name
a huge watermark on top of the whole image. It's not going to look pretty- I know that's for sure, but what else could you do?

That's what I'm currently doing..

Put your name/web address on them big and clear enough that nobody want to use them for layouts and such

Or you can make them a lot smaller, but then people won't see much of the details in the picture ..

thanks for your help. in this account i have made the pictures really small, but yeah they still took them. so i guess im going to have to watermark them even though i hate how it looks.

thank you for your suggestion. i think i may have to watermark them although i hate watermarks. because i have already made all my pictures pretty small and that did nothing. thanks again

Well, even if it isn't the miracle cure, put them under Creative Commons copyrights, and try to watermark them *I don't like using watermarks 'cause they look nasty, I simply put my username*.
Shrinking the pics won't solve anything, thieves are strangely persistant... I hope thieves won't bother you any longer
